Something I found on the CGN board...This was done in the US. It's a Ruger 10/22 with real Thompson parts grafted onto it. I don't know the details, but it would be Canada legal...
I saw that kind of gun when I was a kid. I t was some movie about Al Capone but unsure. I like the magazine on that gun, gives a sense of "danger". I always wondered how many rounds does it holds!
I used to love them too, when I was a kid and I would see them in ganster movies. I like those old civilian models more than I liked the version the military used.
That one would have held 50 rounds of 45 ACP in the drum, but now it holds 50 rounds of 22 long rifle in a magazine inside the drum!
For those of you who like the look of the old style "Chicago Typewriter" but don`t necessarily need a real firearm, Cybergun has made a really cool airsoft rifle. I had one I ordered arrive at my door this morning... it`s super sweet and has all the tiny details. As soon as I hacked off that retarded orange muzzle cap they put on it for US use I was disco! Only problem is that I wonder if that kind of thing would even be allowed in Canada... I hear they`re still pretty anal about airsoft (is it even allowed?) At any rate, very cool TOY replica of the real deal (even the weight and look is incredible -- the parts are all metal -- mind you authentic wood on it makes it heavier -- I know we`re talking apples and oranges though...)
